Blythewood, SC – February 28, 2019 – Charter NEX Films, North America’s leading independent producer of specialty plastic films, recently commemorated 365 days without a recordable injury.  This milestone is especially significant because the facility was in the final phases of construction up until October of 2018.

Charter NEX officially opened its Blythewood, South Carolina facility in November 2018 and continues to actively hire individuals to join its growing team.

“One of Charter NEX’s cardinal principles is to invest in our people and our future and that starts with prioritizing safety as job #1.  We are proud to celebrate this accomplishment with the Blythewood team and we’ll continue doing everything we can to ensure it becomes one of many safety achievements it earns in the future” says Bob Scarcelli, Director of Environmental, Healthy, and Safety.

“Our team here in Blythewood recognized from the beginning that nothing is more important than our safety.  I’m proud of our team for laying the right fundamentals, fostering the right culture, and relentlessly challenging one another to be vigilant and mindful every day” says Aaron Erickson, Plant Manager of Blythewood.
